As
this Library gets bigger, I'll probably
put up a selector for each term so you
wont have to scroll through all the terms
to find the one you are looking for. For
right now, there aren't many, so don't
worry about it :P See one I missed and I
need to add? email me with the term and I
would be happy to put it up. Click the
Dark red Cretin to email me. Please read
over all of these before emailing me about
something... Please. I hate repeating. the
library will grow more extensive as more
terms make their way around the web
page
65th Century Earth- A time beyond
ours, where Humans, Angels, and Demons
live with each other all across the globe.
Since the beginning of time, the Arc and
Yoma have had strong rivalries. these
rivalries transcend decades and decades,
becoming a hereditary disease that's
passed down upon Aerial descendants. Many
humans, following old traditions, thought
of the Arc as their saviors and guardians.
The Yoma were treated like beasts, punks
that can't be trusted. Not all Yoma and
Arc are like their human stereotypes, but
few actually stray from it. Currently the
year 6659 A.C.
Arc-
Heaven sent Angels...Sort of. Many Arc are
crude, and even more prejudice than the
Yoma. Arc's ears extend a bit more than
human's. Their eye marking is on the left
eye in the shape of a bird wing and a
small sphere. They have white, birdlike
wings that extrude from their shoulder
blades at will. Depending on the
experience and strength, an Arc can
potrude big, or small wings. An Arc's hair
color ranges from blonde, white, to extra
light shades of many many colors,
especially blues and yellows. Their eye
colors are usually white, blue, or some
other bright color.
Humans consider Arc as holy creatures
(i.e. old religions that refer to humans
with wings of white that come to protect
and head warning) and are always happy
with their presence, no matter how
arrogant the Arc is.
Yoma- Demons from Hell? Yes. Yoma
love to live up to their ancient
stereotype and are not afraid to be out of
the ordinary. Yoma have long, elf -like
ears and knarled bat-like wings. the layer
in between fingers on the wings is so
thin, that on many Yoma, you can see
through them like a transparency. Even
though its thin, the substance is very
durable, and doesn't tear easily. Many
Yoma have seen over two-hundred years of
battle before the thin substance begins to
tear. Yoma wings also have a sproutlet
form. Their eye marking is always on the
right, in the shape of a bat wing and a
small triangle underneath. Yoma hair
ranges from a gradient of Reds and
Oranges, to a variety of Dark hair colors.
their eyes are most commonly black, red,
yellow, and orange.
Humans look at Yoma as beast and monsters,
ready to snatch up and eat their children.
Some Yoma find it interesting how Humans
hang onto the old religion and are often
playing practical jokes on them.
Sproutlets- Tiny wings that Arc or
Yoma Potrude without using any form of
strength. Every new Arc or Yoma start off
with sproutlets, and can potrude bigger
wings when they have enough
strength.
Aerial
Anatomy - Way~ different than a
Human's. Aerial Children are a minimum of
five and half feet in their early first,
to second digits, and a maximum of 10 and
a half feet as an adult. Besides the
markings on their faces, it is easy to
spot an Arc or Yoma in a large
crowd.
Aerial
Life Span - To put it simple; They are
immortal. Someone would have to kill them
or they would have to commit suicide to
die.
Aerial
Children - Children like you have
never seen them before. Taller, bigger,
weigh as light as a feather, and have the
strength of a full grown human adult. They
are categorized as children by the
markings/ tattoo under their eyes. They
consist of two rounded triangles under
each, a smaller triangle under it on the
right eye, and a small circle under the
left.. These markings are usually a shade
of purple, signifying that they are in
between both Aerial races.
It doesn't really work how you thought of
it. Two Arc parents can have a child that
awakens as a Yoma, or visa versa, it
depends on their dreams, and well-being as
they grow up. A happy child who is bright
free, with many friends, and many delights
will most likely have happy, beautiful
dreams which go to the 16th Dream
(Awakening) and they become an Arc. A
Child who is sad, neglected, and abused is
most likely to have nightmares and bad
dreams. This transcends to the 16th dream
to become a Yoma. In many cases, it all
depends on what the child dreams about on
their 16th birthday. Many a time have
Happy children had a nightmare on that day
and turned into Yoma. Abused children
forced themselves to have happy beautiful
dreams so that they can become Arc. It all
depends on the child, and what they want
to be... But then, some aren't sure, and
are stuck in between.
16th
Dream - Commonly known as the
Awakening. This is when a Child's Aerial
race is decided, at midnight exactly, the
day of their sixteenth birthday, Whatever
the child was dreaming about, good or bad,
determines if they are either Arc or Yoma.
Some Aerial Children have special cases
when it comes to the Awakening...
Limbo
- Like it suggests, the child that
cant decide what dream to have will be
stuck in limbo. Not an Arc, nor a Yoma,
more like a living ghost. They have
neutral gray hair, gray eyes, and gray
markings on their faces. Children stuck in
Limbo will never get out of Limbo unless
they dream of a good dream, or finally
have a nightmare. Most children in limbo
end up being Yoma.
Dream
Eaters - More referred to as Insomnia.
Children who don't dream. Dream eaters are
more like advanced cases of Limbo, Hair
color dulls to a neutral, eyes change
color and their pupils spiral or extrude
extra rings. Their ears extend like a
Yoma's, but their presence is that of an
Arc. Since these Children can't dream,
they possess a talent enabling them to
steal dreams from other people at night.
Dream Eater's wings are that of bones, a
skeletal presence that floats on top of
their shoulders to aid them as they wander
the sky, looking for a victim. If a Dream
Eater steals enough of the same dream,
they wake up to either that Dream or
Nightmare. If the victim of a Dream Eater
repetitively gets attacked, they slowly
begin to turn into insomniacs as well.
WAWW I - Stands for World Aerial
Winged War. Times are hard in the 65th
century, but not as hard as they were in
3920 A.C. An Aerial War raged on for
two-hundred and eighty years straight;
Yoma and Arc determined to settle the
score. As soldiers and time grew thin, the
war ceased and both held a temporary
compromise that they didn't intend to
keep. after a long hiatus, WAWW II begins
so slowly creep forward into the new
millennia.
